RedKingsDream was created by four Australians who just wanted to find a new way of writing about games, one that didn’t really exist in any organised fashion. Their aim was to fill the gap left by PR release-driven reporting, to get the thinker’s hearts racing, and to elevate the esoteric, insider commentary that a scattered bunch of sites focus on into something that’s accessible and provocative.
Now that they’ve settled into their niche, it’s their dream to create a space, not only for those that like to think critically and reflexively about games, their audiences and creators, but also for those that can’t help themselves but to examine, poke and prod from both inside and outside their virtual, imaginary walls.
